A small training, in the hills, with real practice every day

Our Yoga Alliance registered 200-hour yoga teacher training runs for 25 nights at True Nature, in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. There are never more than 20 students.

You live on site, practise twice a day, and study anatomy, teaching methodology, yoga philosophy, meditation — with lots of practice teaching and feedback. Meals are Ning's vegetarian cooking, three times a day.

Yoga doesn't always need to feel so serious. The training is light, engaging and joyful: learning, exploring, laughing at yourself a bit, and feeling more at ease in your body and mind.

Inside the training

Light-hearted, and very practical

Every training starts with a welcome circle, where we mark the beginning of the month together. Our September 2026 group came from all over the world, and the training was fully booked.

Then the days fill up: practice, anatomy, philosophy, teaching methodology and meditation, with plenty of laughter in between.

Food during the training

Ning — co-founder and resident chef — cooks fresh every day: vegetarian and vegan food made with local ingredients from nearby markets and our own garden, eaten together in the open-air dining area.
