Guests settling into seated meditation in the True Nature shala

Meditation at True Nature

Simple, practical, no dogma.

Meditation here is practical, relaxed and beginner-friendly. No strict dogma, and no single technique you have to sign up to.

We share the simple "nuts and bolts" of meditation that work for any style — and for ordinary life. Sessions mix short teachings, guided practice, time for questions and sometimes a bit of journaling. We also try mindfulness in everyday moments: walking, eating, listening to the birds.

How often do we meditate?

Morning yoga starts at 7:30am. Breathing practice and meditation are part of daily life here. You are welcome to sit on your own at any time too — the shalas are open, and most guests find a favourite quiet spot in the garden.

If you are completely new, this is a good place to start. We keep it simple and friendly, and nobody minds if you fidget.
